To begin with the light that invades every part of the house, it’s impossible to not feel enchanted by our Trancoso Villa. The garden has a striking presence from wherever you look and helps the villa to become a true refuge.

With a lot of “bossa” and an unpretentious decoration, the house resembles a bit of Mykonos and Ibiza but don’t let aside authentic elements of the Brazilian culture. Like the “taubilha” roof, a typical material from Bahia that seals the living room height. And if the idea is to bring together groups of friends, the atmosphere can become more breadth if you open the two doors that separates the bar and the kitchen.

As a view, the terrace and charming straw nets, an old wooden deck and the house main character: a swimming pool that embraces the green vegetation. At the surrounding, the 5 ensuite bedrooms with minimalist style and its gardens.

The location is also special: located inside the Altos de Trancoso condo, with all the security and exclusivity that your holidays require, but close enough to the city center (Quadrado) for those nights you feel like partying.

Trancoso Villa 54

Villa 54 allows guests to forget about the outside world and focus on the important things in life – it is one of our most special villas, located in the condominium of Altos de Trancoso, overlooking a bamboo grove. 

Inspired on the cross of St Benedict, the villa´s design seamlessly interconnects the rooms to the outside areas. The internal décor is understated yet stylish.  The kitchen is a central feature and the heart of this villa, with the sitting room, pool and two of the bedrooms overlooking it.  

Our guests enjoy sitting and chatting at the bar while enjoying the occasional dip in the pool and eating delicious snacks prepared by the cook (the house comes with a cook, an assistant cook and a cleaner).  And if you are a keen cook, then this is the perfect house to cook while still enjoying the company of your friends.  

The villa’s lighting has won awards and creates a warm, homely ambience.  The thatched dome roof has a skylight which attracts light from the sun and moon, creating different ambiences throughout the day.  All this combines to create a heavenly atmosphere, making your holiday in Bahia all the more special. 

Trancoso Villa 55

Newly built villa 55 is located in Altos de Trancoso condominium on a cliff with stunning sea views. It is one of the most special villas in our portfolio.

This is the perfect house to unwind in…whether swimming in the pool, using the gym, playing pool or merely relaxing in the garden. You can even watch the beautiful pink sun rise from every room in the house.

When the sun has set you can sit by the fire pit in the garden, watching the gentle come and go of the sea, while sipping a refreshing caipirinha. The staff are extremely attentive, who bakes fresh bread daily as well as preparing delicious pizzas cooked in the wood burning oven.

The icing on the cake is the villa´s décor, with its modern pieces of art and local artefacts which combined with the subtle lighting blend seamlessly into the living areas and the bedrooms – by the way, the master suite is really very special.

Trancoso, Villa 16 + 63

A true oasis on the sand, perfect for large families or groups of friends. That’s what Villa 16+63 is, a house that occupies a large plot of oceanfront land in the Itapororoca condominium.

To begin with, the refuge has that charming, uncluttered architecture that goes so well with the Bahian destination. And from the bungalows scattered around the main house to the lounge just steps from the beach, every detail has been thought out to make the most of its privileged location. A sauna, swimming pool, kayaks and playground complete the list of attractions that appeal to all ages.

Young people, for example, will love the privacy of the annex built close to the beach. In addition to the four suites, there is a swimming pool and a cozy game room that make the post-beach day even more special.

Trancoso, Villa 58

Inside a small condominium – there are only 11 houses – on Itapororoca beach in Trancoso, villa 58 is the best translation of life by the sea in Bahia.

Imagine a house that’s all open and airy, with that bossa that makes you dream of spending a season in the region’s Bahian hideaways. Everything takes place around a large wooden deck, where the pool, gourmet area and living room connect.

Between cozy armchairs, a games table and sofas that hug you, it’s hard to leave – whatever the time of day. But to get to the beach, all you have to do is walk down a short path immersed in greenery. Once there, a large almond tree acts as a sun hat, complementing your dip in the shade and fresh water of villa 58.

To get to the house, you have to leave your car at the gate and choose between walking a few meters or taking a golf cart, another of the property’s charms.

Trancoso, Villa 62

This villa is perfectly located in a small exclusive condominium between Trancoso´s central square (the Quadrado) and Rio da Barra beach. As much as Trancoso´s beautiful beaches and old town centre might entice you away, this particular villa is hard to leave.

It is a newly built, charming, relaxed, understated and typically Bahian beach house. One of its unique features is the pool which is positioned in the centre of the house, connecting all rooms.

The villa has bright airy living areas and basically everything you might need to make the most of a relaxing, care free holiday. Another highlight of this villa is its staff who are on hand to prepare delicious meals and cocktails.

Trancoso, Villa 63

For young people who have dreamed of an unpretentious, sandy holiday in Trancoso, this is the ideal escape. Situated on the beach of Itapororoca, Villa 63 is an intimate and cosy house for a season in the shade.

As well as a breeze-fringed swimming pool, there is a games room – with a pool table and sea views – perfect for post-beach fun in total privacy. There are four suites, a barbecue and all the comforts you need for your Bahian days.

Trancoso, Villa 65

Villa 65 is located in the Rio da Barra condominium and is surrounded by a beautiful rubber tree plantation. The villa has a series of bungalows spread around the property, which ensures total privacy. The central bungalow houses the main living area, which opens on to a fabulous varanda overlooking the swimming pool.

The condominium offers a full beach service which means guests can enjoy a relaxed day swimming, having lunch and most importantly the chance to relax without having to worry about any logisitics while at the beach.

At the end of a lazy day at the beach, the five small bungalows, which house the bedrooms, are the perfect place for an afternoon siesta, enveloped by gentle Bahian sea breezes. There is a master suite on the second floor of the main bungalow, which overlooks the tops of the trees.

The decor of this special villa is full of charm and personality and includes pieces of art collected by the owner over the years. It is truly charming!

Trancoso, Villa 66

Villa 66 has views across a valley in Trancoso and is known as `Alma Ninho´ (Soul Nest) as the owner, chef Morena Leite, has made the kitchen the focal point of the house, giving it a unique gastronomic feel.

The kitchen opens onto a charming sitting room where everyone congregates during the day. From breakfast in the refreshing breeze to pizza nights under starry skies, this is the place to come and relax and absorb the laid-back Bahian lifestyle. As befits a villa owned by a chef, all the menu choices have been picked by the owner, who has been the chef at one of the best and most famous restaurants in Trancoso, Capim Santo, for many years.

Four en-suite bedrooms, a pool, a sauna and plenty of good vibes will ensure total relaxation. All this is on the doorstep of Trancoso´s famous central square, the Quadrado, where guests will enjoy balmy evenings wandering around the shops and restaurants of this unique corner of Bahia.
